We are getting closer to the next big event in the stone industry in Portugal, the International Stone Fair in Batalha, Portugal – the Expoconstrói , that takes place between the 9th and 13th of April 2008 . This fair is dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of construction materials, which includes portuguese natural stones such as limestones.

As in previous years, we expect a strong participation of several well-known companies in the area of exploration and transformation of natural stones. We also expect a strong participation of other companies related with the natural stone sector, as are the cases of metalo-mechanical companies, transportation and logistics companies, among many others.

This fair will be followed by the International Stone Fair of Madrid – Spain, which will take place between the 7th and the 10th of May 2008 . The fairs season will culminate with the International Fair for Construction and Public Work – Tektónica , which will take place in Lisbon – Portugal, between the 20th and 24th of May 2008.
