Limestone project: Abdullah Al-Salem Community Center in Kuwait
Projects details
Location: Abdullah Al-Salem area – Kuwait Materials used: Moca Creme Classic limestone Details: supply of exterior cladding and wall coverings of main building
Review
The Abdullah Al-Salem Community Center in Kuwait is a quite a beautiful building that required the supply of Moca Creme limestone from Portugal. This project involved the supply of exterior cladding and wall coverings of all the exterior parts of the main building. Most of the panels are straight but edges of the building are all curved.
Despite not being a famous landmark in Kuwait, the Abdullah Al-Salem Community Center is another fine example of Moca Creme limestone use in Kuwait, a market with a strong preference for this limestone, in particular for exterior cladding and vertical use.
If you would like to know more information about the Moca Creme limestone used on this project, check the video below, where we make a good introduction to this Portuguese beige limestone.
