Azul Peniche Dark


The Azul Peniche Dark is a darker grey / bluish limestone, with medium to gross grain and several areas with a brownish color. It present several signs of fossils throughout its surface.

This is the darker variation of the Azul Peniche limestone, which also presents a lighter variation and one with quite thick grain. The Azul Peniche is considered by many as the natural substitute of the Azul Valverde.


Bending strength: 11.9 MPa; Density: 2655 kg/m3; Water absorption: 0.48%


The Azul Peniche Dark is a type of limestone that is mostly used on interior applications, most notably on flooring and coverings. It is a limestone that resists and maintains its natural characteristics to its optimum in interior use. This is an ideal limestone for diverse interior decoration uses.
