The Moca Creme Cross-cut is a beige colored limestone, which is characterized by its absence of vein, fine to medium grain and fairly uniform background. Its main variations depend mostly on the thickness of the grain. This variation of the Moca Creme does not present any parallel vein but instead disperse clouds throughout its surface.
The Moca Creme has huge demand worldwide and is considered by many as the ex-libris of Portuguese limestones. This specific variation of the Moca Creme has less demand if compared to both Classic and Fine grain variations, but nonetheless has seen a considerable increase in demand in the past few years.
Compression strength: 930 Kg/cm2; Bending strength: 126 Kg/cm2; Porosity: 5,9%
The Moca Creme is by excellence a limestone to be used on diverse cladding applications. As we can see on the gallery on this page, this limestone has been used on diverse types of cladding (straight, curved). Its parallel darker beige vein does a wonderful work in building cladding and has much demand for this type of work. In addition to cladding, it is also used on masonry, flooring and coverings.
