Moca Creme Fine

DESCRIPTION

The Moca Creme Fine is a beige colored limestone, which is characterized by its parallel thin vein, fine grain and uniform background. Its main variations depend on the thickness of the grain and if it is cut in favour or against the vein (where it shows no parallel vein). This variation is also known as Relvinha.

The Moca Creme has huge demand worldwide and is considered by many as the ex-libris of Portuguese limestones. In recent years most block production has been bought by Chinese companies, which has turned the Moca Creme Fine (Relvinha) a more exclusive variation of the Moca Creme limestone, with higher price and less availability.

TECHNICAL DATA

Compression strength: 930 Kg/cm2; Bending strength: 126 Kg/cm2; Porosity: 5,9%

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS

The Moca Creme Fine is by excellence a limestone to be used on diverse cladding applications. As we can see on the gallery on this page, this limestone has been used on diverse types of cladding (straight, curved). Its parallel darker beige vein does a wonderful work in building cladding and has much demand for this type of work. In addition to cladding, it is also used on masonry, flooring and coverings.
